NEW YORK PRIMARIES SLATED FOR SEPTEMBER 12

If you are a registered voter, September 12 is Primary Day for candidates for political office who are facing opponents in the election. Your vote can decide who will be the winner. Some of our friends in the State Assembly and Senate are facing challenges, including Assemblywoman Catherine Nolan of Queens, and Darryl Towns of Brooklyn. So are several friends of Local 237 in Congress, including Brooklyn Congressmen Major Owens and Edolphus Towns. Members should expect to receive a mailing from the union indicating the candidates the union is supporting.
