New Peace Officers Sworn In at Department of Homeless Services
Gregory Floyd, director of Local 237’s Citywide Division, took part in graduation ceremonies July 25 at John Jay College of Criminal Justice in Manhattan to welcome 27 new members who successfully completed the training program to become officers in the Department of Homeless Services.
The Police Officer Training Program included the New York State Peace Officer Certification Training Program.
The graduates were Jermaine Abraham, Rashid Ashraf, Stella Bethea, Natalyea Byfield, Ricardo Carabello, Brett Challenger, Wayne Clayburne, Lisa Dunton, Gregory Farrell;
Also, India Ferguson, Vivian Gill, Allah Iself, Robin Martineas, Joseph Meizlik, Michael Ovens, Juan Pascual, Akindra Reape, Hasan Reavis, Justin Rokisky, Gilbert Romero, Leslie Simmons, Joseph Spiver, Darlene Thompson, Iris Torres, James Watson, Laquan Williams and Adaiah Yisrael.
