Learning About Labor

President Carl Haynes and other Local 237 officials shared a laugh with Brooklyn youngsters and their mentors who visited union headquarters last month to discuss organized labor.

Standing with Haynes are (L-R) Vice President Richard Hendershot, Trustee Abbey Pabon, Jesse Watkins, founder of the youth betterment group, and Gregory Floyd, director of the Citywide Division. Watkins, a Local 237 member and executive safety officer for the Department of Education, founded the group to keep kids on the right path to success.
