There are 100 days left until the Teamsters celebrate their centennial. In honor of that, each day from now until September 6 will be marked with historical photos and facts on Teamster.org, the union's website.

As visitors enter the site, they will be greeted with a splash page featuring the Photo or Photos of the Day and an accompanying caption, as well as a Teamster Fact of the Day. Each day's featured item(s) will be archived and available through the 100th Anniversary section of the site, located at http://www.teamster.org/about/100year/100year.htm

"We're all excited about the 100th anniversary of this great union, and this is one of the ways we're building momentum to the celebration," said Teamsters General President Jim Hoffa. "Each day, our members and other visitors to our site can see a different piece of our powerful Teamster history."

Additional historical information, including biographies of a variety of Teamsters and articles from past decades of the Teamster magazine, is also available in the 100th Anniversary section.
