Local 237 has arranged with H&R Block to offer tax preparation at union headquarters for the cost of only $20 to qualified members.

To qualify, families must earn under $55,000, and single individuals must earn under $35,000.

You must make an appointment to have your taxes done at union headquarters by calling us at 646-638-8610.

H&R Block will also give Earned Income Tax Credits (EITC) to tax filers who qualify. To qualify for the EITC, families with dependents are required to earn less than $40,000. Individuals are required to earn less than $20,000.

Each year, the EITC returns millions of tax dollars to eligible taxpayers who may also qualify for free tax preparation at volunteer income tax assistance (VITA) sites throughout the five boroughs.
