EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1, 2026
The Local 237 Retirees' Fund has made prescription plan improvements for our Medicare retirees and their Medicare eligible dependents. The plan is available to retirees from Local 237’s Citywide and Housing Divisions.
The plan is premium-free.
Our Teamsters Local 237 Retiree Fund Trustees continue to seek out benefit options to provide the most coverage to the broadest group. The new Local 237 Part D plan accomplishes that goal: protecting you, your family and future Local 237 Retirees by providing comprehensive benefits and catastrophic coverage. Many vaccines are also covered by the new plan.
The new plan, SilverScript’s Local 237 Part
D Plan, is administered by Aetna, the previous provider.
Our Fund also provides a new dedicated concierge service, RetireesFirst, to assist you with the transition and your prescription plan needs.
Important plan letters and materials have been sent by mail. The materials include plan benefit details and a dedicated concierge service telephone number.
Information is also posted below on this webpage.
